Definitely reminiscent of Tina Turner, both in appearance and stage style is Connie Garrett, also known as “Connie G - The Creole Soul Sista”, the hottest female singer and impersonator in the southeast!

For the past three decades, Connie G has been burning up stages with local bands (Krossfyre and GTO) out of Lafayette, LA. Besides playing at club gigs, casinos, corporate events and festivals, Connie has headlined concerts for Robert Palmer, Morris Day and The Times, The Gap Band, Percy Sledge, Irma Thomas, Robin Thicke and more!! She has shared the stage with Ron Isley, Ron B., Rockin Dopsie Jr., Cupid (Cupid Shuffle) and Grammy Award Winner Chubby Carrier, just to name a few! Connie G has performed and donated her talent for many community organizations/fundraisers, such as The Boys and Girls Club, The Goodwill of Acadiana, Goodwill of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Pets Haven Animal Rescue, Charmaine Neville and more!

“When I first started playing music, I really didn’t think I would be doing it 35 years later,” said Connie G, aka Connie Garrett. “I was not in tune on how the music business goes, as far as marketing, branding myself and making sure my music is being played on the radio.I didn’t know all that. Maybe it took me that long to get it together. It’s finally starting to pay off.”
